I Am Grateful Book

I am Grateful is an illustrated children’s book that guides family members, parents, and children on a continued journey to happiness and gratitude. Recommended for 0+ year olds.

How it works

→ Counting your blessings is the very essence of gratitude practice, and it’s never too early to share this experience with children.

→ Children who regularly engage in gratitude practice are more likely to be resilient, report higher levels of happiness, and enjoy better mental health than their peers.

→ This book is an invitation to set aside a few minutes every day to count blessings as a family and give thanks for all that you have.

→ Consistent gratitude practice and engaging in family mindfulness rituals are wonderful gifts that will help prepare young children for whatever challenges may come their way.

Family Gratitude

As you read the book together, each family member can share what they are most grateful for in life.

Each family member can fill out the Five minute Gratitude Journal and reflect on three good things that happened that day.

You can write a good experience down on a piece of paper and put it in the gratitude jar. At the end of the year, open the jar and reflect on all the good things that happened.

Thank you Note

As you go through the book, ask a child to think about someone they would like to thank.

Encourage them to write a letter or draw a picture expressing their gratitude.

Words of Appreciation

When you finish reading this book, take a few moments to appreciate your special bond.

Talk to a child about how grateful you are for having them in your life.
